I believe that the scale change from Imperial Assault may provide higher quality miniatures when all is said and done.
Fantasy Flight Games once again limits the number of needed dice in the starter set, but I'm guessing many will be picking up multiple copies of the starter.

Thanks Stanley for the comment. I'm very excited to see the upcoming releases and what direction they go - hopefully there will be more news soon. I'm pretty sure at this point I'll at least paint up an army of Stormtroopers and Vader. For the Rebel side, I've been thinking of a Wookie or Ewok force.... I'm much less interested in units outside the original trilogy movies. If the AT-RT is any indication, there will be more to come. And I understand that for play balance reasons some units that are unfamiliar to me will be needed.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping they have a few broad factions so can maximize your collection and run the force you want but with specific leaders allow you to run a narrow faction.
ReplyDeleteI'd like that too. Its fun to have flexibility along with some customization in army building. I'm guessing some special characters will give specific benefits that will help run a narrow faction.
